Kira is a 8-9 month old Chiweenie which is a chihuahua / dachshund mix. Kira is about 15 pounds and probably is the size she is going to be. Her and her siblings, another puppy and an adult dog were all left down a dirt road in the middle of no where. One of the others were shot and killed and another disappeared. Rescue got Kira and the other two before something bad happened to them. Kira is very timid and submissive. She has been through so much trauma that she just likes to lie still and be quiet. She really wants to know what it is like to be loved and cared for and you can see it in her eyes. She is a jewel waiting to blossom in the right hands.
